I take this opportunity to thank our out-going Chairman, Dr. Mansoor Al-Awar and out-going President Professor Mohamed Zairi for providing expert advice and guidance to corporations and societies in the Middle East region that contributed im­mensely toward creating the quality culture that has become part of today's Middle Eastern corporations and pledge myself to carry on the work they started and provide the leadership that is required to achieve MEQA's Vision and Mission.

We will continue to push forward with the initiatives that begun with MEQA's establishment and build upon with new challeng­ing program & plans that will enable us to achieve our objec­tives and mission. In this regard, we seek full support of our members through partnering projects with them and working as a team to spread the values and principles of total quality that we stand for and seek to promote.

I assure my full support to our current President, Mr. Hakan Kilitcioglu and seek full support of our Executive Committee Members in translating our plans into actual achievements.

In the near future, you will hear from us our plans for 2009 and beyond, that will take us one step forward in accomplishing our mission.
