To work on the creation of the Constitution and Bylaws of MEQA

To support the creation and functioning of the MEQA Executive Committee

To work on the development of MEQA's first Strategic Plan

To design and develop the necessary structure, systems and governance processes
for MEQA to function effectively

To help the recruitment of key staff for managing MEQA

To act as the focal point of contact with members

To help develop a portfolio of activities

To support the development of Quality movements in all member countries

To plan with the Executive Committee and Founder Members the annual conference
-
To work on the development of the MEQA Quality Award

To work on a set of criteria for the assessment of organizations for the MEQA
Quality Award

To launch The Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award through MEQA

To work on the development of a website for MEQA

To prepare a succession plan and develop criteria for the appointment of the
next President and also Chairman of MEQA
b) Activities to be led by the chairman of MEQA

To oversee all aspects of MEQA associated with governance and general conduct
-
To represent MEQA regionally and internationally with other Quality
Organizations
-
To sign any MOUs or agreements for cooperation, sponsorship deals and mutually
beneficial activities, on behalf of MEQA
-
To chair the meetings of the MEQA Executive Committee
-
To sign off the constitution and bylaws of MEQA
-
To oversee the general administration and legal functioning of MEQA
-
To present on behalf of MEQA at conferences and other prestigious events
